How does the Best Price Guarantee work?

It’s only fair that we’re comparing apples with apples, so we’ll only beat the price of an alternative loan that comes with the same standards and safeguards that we offer to our customers.

In particular, do check the small print as the comparable loan should:

• Be genuinely open ended – some companies offer probate loans that have a fixed repayment date, which we think could be a bit risky for borrowers in cases where the estate takes longer than expected to be distributed. Our loans are safer, as they run for as long as they need to.
• Come with no personal liability – with our loans you’ll never be personally liable to pay us back directly provided you don’t breach the terms of the loan agreement.
• Not be secured against any property – our loans don’t involve us taking a charge on any property.
• No requirement for regular payments – our loans allow for partial payments at any time, but because there’s never any obligation to make payments during the term it’s impossible to fall into arrears.
• Be evidenced in the form of an actual offer of a loan from an FCA-regulated provider – unlike Advanced Inheritance, some providers offer a headline interest rate at the start that may be different to the actual price offered when they’ve carried out a lending assessment. Because of this, we’ll need to see an actual loan offer in order to beat any alternative price.
